You will be met at the tender landing site by your tour guide and driven to the helicopter pad at Fort James in St John’s. After your orientation and safety briefing, here you will board your awaiting private helicopter for a fully narrated and truly memorable and unique Montserrat Volcano tour.
On this 45-minute, pilot-narrated flight, you will fly to Montserrat to tour its "Exclusion Zone," an area covering 80 sq. kms made off-limits to both ground transportation and habitation. This makes the helicopter the only way to get an up-close look at the Soufriere Hills Volcano.

  • Le Marin - Unlocking the Cellars of Clément

    Description

Join a small-group tour for a truly immersive experience at Habitation Clément, one of Martinique’s most emblematic estates, where Creole heritage, art, and rum culture come together in an unforgettable setting.

On the way to the estate, your guide will offer engaging commentary about Martinique’s rich history and cultural identity, providing valuable context for your visit.

Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a guided stroll through the estate’s 40-acre botanical garden, filled with over 300 tropical plant species and dotted with large-scale works from contemporary artists. As you walk through this lush environment, you’ll also discover several rum cellars, a creole house, the old rum factory.

You’ll then step inside the beautifully preserved Creole manor house, where period furniture, vintage photos, and authentic décor bring to life the colonial-era lifestyle of Martinique's planter class. Each room tells a story, offering a glimpse into the past and the legacy of the Clément family.

Next, your rum specialist will guide you to the private ageing cellars, normally closed to the public. These impressive warehouses, where over two million liters of rum rest in oak barrels, provide a rare behind-the-scenes look at the ageing process. You’ll even get the chance to taste rum straight from the cask, directly in the heart of the cellar.

The experience concludes with a VIP rum masterclass held in a privatized tasting space on the estate. Here, you’ll learn to recognize the complex aromas and notes that define Martinique’s finest rums, while enjoying a curated rum and food pairing. Each gourmet bite is selected to enhance the flavor profile of the rum — a refined sensory journey for curious palates and connoisseurs alike.
