The Bahamas burst with their abundant stunning beaches, untouched nature, and distinct biodiversity—nestled in an archipelago of sheltered cays and islets, best discovered from the perspective of your intimate SeaDream yacht. Sail roundtrip from Palm Beach, and begin by exploring untouched Andros Island, where mangrove estuaries and underwater caves have created haven for scuba divers and snorkelers. Discover Great Exuma Island, its waters so clear and aquamarine-blue they are visible from space, and its powdery white-sand beaches, deserted cays, and exclusive golf resorts fringing the coastline. Relax under the shade of pine trees at Gordon’s Beach, the southernmost white-sand stretch on Long Island. Explore the isle from the perspective two of its most impressive natural wonders, the Hamilton Caves, dripping with stalactites, and Dean’s Blue Hole, the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole, surrounded by limestone bluffs. Uncover San Salvador, one of the Bahamas’ smallest inhabited islands, boasting sparkling inland lakes, reef-filled sea waters, miles of secluded white-sand beaches, and dive sites teeming with sea life. Swim with native pigs in the unsung paradise of Staniel Cay and explore Grand Bahama’s Taino Beach, a secluded escape of soft-white sand.

    Description

In the middle of paradise, with billionaires and celebrities for neighbors, is an island populated only by swimming pigs. For decades, this archipelago of 365 islands would remain largely unknown to the world. It would not be a ruthless pirate, pioneering loyalists, a notorious drug kingpin, or the infamous Fyre Festival that would unveil Exuma to the world, but rather the most unlikely of creatures. Appearing in magazines, videos, newspapers, commercials, TV shows, and countless selfies, are the Swimming Pigs of Staniel Cay Exuma, in the Bahamas. They have become a bucket-list sensation and have been named one of the marvels of the universe. After your pig encounter you will be transferred back to the yacht with lots of photos, selfies, and memories to share with your fellow SeaDreamers and family onboard.
