Cadaqués - The Pearl of Costa Brava & Wine Cellar
Cadaqués - The Pearl of Costa Brava & Wine Cellar
Spain's easternmost town, Cadaqués, still has the whitewashed charm that transformed this fishing village into an international artists' haunt in the early 20th century. For most of “cadaquesencs”, the local people, this is a very special place and when travelers visit, they can only agree. Cadaqués is a beautiful small village and you will start your day with a lovely walking tour of the town where after you have some time explore on your own.
Then you will continue to Martin Faixó which is a family-run winery surrounded by the sea, located at an altitude of 300 m on Cadaqués Pass, in Cap de Creus Natural Park. The slate soil produces a yield of 35 hl/ha. The Tramontane North wind has beneficial effects on the health of the vines. You will have the opportunity to taste a couple of wines and to learn more about the production before returning to your SeaDream yacht.
Notes: This tour is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties, as the city and the venue feature cobblestones, ramps, and steps.
