Cocoa Discovery & Argyle Waterfalls

Cocoa Discovery & Argyle Waterfalls

Enjoy a breathtaking scenic mountain drive, a dip in the Argyle Falls pool and visit of Tobago’s Award-Winning Cocoa Estate on this memorable Yachting Land Adventure. This half-day adventure of Tobago’s rainforest takes you along the Windward coast to Roxborough and enters the main Ridge Forest Reserve which is the oldest established forest in the Western Hemisphere. You continue to the Cocoa Estate, which is well known for its top-quality cocoa that goes into making World Class Chocolate products. Upon arrival, your guide will introduce you to the Cocoa Estate management who will provide a briefing on the estate and take you on a walk through the facility. See firsthand the cocoa trees and the way they are processed for market, including the drying process and bagging for export markets. After the guided experience, you will be treated to a sampling of the freshly brewed cocoa tea and a chocolate bar before heading back to your transportation.

From the Cocoa Estate, you will head to the Argyle Waterfalls which is a short 10-minute drive away. Upon arrival, a Naturalist Guide will lead you on a 30-minute trek to the waterfalls where you will have time for a dip and to explore these beautiful tropical surroundings in the Tobago Rainforest Reserve. After approximately 20 minutes on your own, you will head back to the Main Visitor Center to re-board the waiting transportation to return to the yacht.

Notes: Participants should be in good physical condition, especially for the trek to the waterfall. Comfortable clothing, and sturdy (or trek type) walking shoes are recommended for walking over boulders and uneven ground on the strenuous path to the waterfalls. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change.
