The Soul of St. Kitts - S Friars Bay
The Soul of St. Kitts - S Friars Bay
This Yachting Land Adventure offers the must-see highlights and the soul of St. Kitts.
Departing from the tender pier by mini-bus, you'll enjoy stunning vistas after you walk to the top of the Brimstone Hill Fortress. People call this UNESCO World Heritage Site the Gibraltar of the West Indies. Next you drive to Romney Manor’s gardens, where you will see (from the outside) a piece of 17th-century history, where Thomas Jefferson's great grandfather Samuel was the original owner. The lacy wooden architecture and tropical gardens are a feast for the eyes. You may even be fortunate enough to see hummingbirds and green vervet monkeys. Afterwards, visit Caribelle Batik. Here you see how locals create each one-of-a-kind article of clothing and decorative masterpiece.
Make your way next to Fairview Great House, where you will learn more about the island's complex history and afterwards enjoy the Fairview Great House signature cocktail – a lemongrass mojito. The last stop of this adventure is at Timothy Hill to take in breathtaking 360-degree views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island before returning to your yacht.
