Begin your discovery of Positano at the pier, where a knowledgeable local guide leads you on a walking exploration through the village’s steep lanes and historic heart. The tour starts with an interior visit to Positano’s Cathedral, home to centuries of maritime devotion and a symbol of the town’s long seafaring heritage. From here, walk uphill through the main center, weaving through narrow alleyways lined with boutiques and family-run shops, while learning how Positano evolved from a medieval fishing village into an iconic Amalfi Coast destination.

Along the route, pause at local groceries and neighborhood bars to sample a curated selection of regional flavors, including cured meats, cheeses, bruschetta, traditional sweets, and limoncello, offering a true taste of everyday life in Positano. The walk continues to a renowned sandal workshop, where artisans demonstrate the handmade process behind the town’s signature footwear. Afterward, guests may return with the guide to the tender pier or remain in the lively center for independent exploration at their leisure.

Notes: This tour involves a strenuous activity level, including uphill and downhill walking on uneven surfaces with approximately 20 steps in each direction. It is not wheelchair accessible. Casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
