Stroll with your guide to Chora Town enjoying great views and a visit of the church of “Evangelistria”. See a miniature boat and pottery workshops, plus enjoy a tasting of Greek Meze along with a wine tasting.
Meet your local guide at the tender pier and start your walk up the steps of the picturesque Chora town. The town is built like an amphitheater and extends from the port up to its impressive Castle. During your walk you will admire the architecture of the beautiful neoclassical houses, built one next to each other, as well as the blooming walkways and lovely courtyards. Skopelos has more than 300 small churches and you will pass by some of them during your walk like the church of Panagitsa of Pyrgos, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Also visit the church of "Evangelistria", one of the oldest in Skopelos town. Heading up the old town you will arrive through the Castle to the square of Mylos. Then a short transfer brings you to the lab of a traditional mini boat manufacturer for a short presentation of their work. Next walk to the newer part of Skopelos to visit a family pottery business. Your last stop will be at a local seafood restaurant, which offers the ideal environment for a “local Greek Meze” and a variety of Greek wines tasting.
Notes: It is recommended that guests wear flat, comfortable shoes.
