Nice’s Old Town, Flower Market & Ancient Winery

Nice’s Old Town, Flower Market & Ancient Winery

Set out from Monaco along the scenic Middle Corniche, where sweeping views of Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, and Beaulieu introduce the beauty of the Côte d’Azur. Upon reaching Nice, enjoy a panoramic drive before stepping into the vibrant Old Town. Stroll through its charming narrow streets and admire the colorful façades that define this historic quarter. The lively Cours Saleya awaits, home to the city’s beloved daily flower market, bursting with fragrance and local character. On Mondays, the scene transforms into a bustling flea market, offering a different but equally engaging atmosphere.

After time to explore at your leisure, continue inland toward the hills overlooking the Bay of Nice. Your destination is the storied Château de Crémat, one of France’s oldest vineyards and the jewel of the Bellet appellation. This remarkable estate sits on land once settled by ancient Romans, who carved tunnels still used today for aging wine. The vineyard’s unique microclimate, shaped by alpine winds and Mediterranean breezes, allows its grapes to mature slowly, producing elegant wines rooted in centuries of tradition.

Your visit includes a guided exploration of the château’s gardens, terraces, barrel cellar, and Roman galleries, offering insight into both its history and winemaking philosophy. Learn about the estate’s production methods before enjoying a tasting of three distinctive wines, paired with Provençal snacks such as cold cuts and fresh bread. Savor the flavors of the region as you take in the serene surroundings. After this enriching experience, relax on the return drive to Monaco and back to your yacht.
