Bequia Coastal Cruise & Snorkel

Join your fellow SeaDreamers on a fun snorkeling expedition and scenic cruise along the coastline of Bequia. There is perhaps no better way to enjoy the waters of the Caribbean than a bit of sightseeing and snorkeling, just the right combination to provide a sense of relaxation and adventure at the same time.

Climb aboard a comfortable catamaran at Port Elizabeth and take in views of Bequia's picturesque waterfront as you set off along the island's coastline. Cruise past the beautiful Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay, then keep your camera ready as you pass some rather unusual homes set into the rugged hillside and built from natural materials, an area known as Moonhole. The cruise continues past Petit Nevis and Semple Cay, where you can view Bequia's historic whaling station from the water.

Your captain will then select a suitable snorkeling location based on the day's weather and sea conditions. Once you're in the water, equipped with vest, mask and snorkel, enjoy time exploring Bequia's underwater environment. Return to the catamaran, where rum punch will be served, and enjoy the scenery as you sip your refreshing drink during the cruise back to Port Elizabeth.

Notes: Guests must be able to safely negotiate steep steps and a wet landing, which involves walking through shallow water when embarking and disembarking the catamaran; water shoes make walking through shallow water on sand or stones easier. This tour is not recommended for guests with significant mobility or balance limitations. The minimum age to participate is 6 years. Swimming and snorkeling are optional, and guests who swim or snorkel should have basic swimming ability and be comfortable in the water. Prior snorkeling experience makes the tour more enjoyable; however, the crew will assist guests who may need help. Guests who wish to get off the catamaran but cannot snorkel are taken to the beach, and guests are also welcome to stay on board throughout the tour. Snorkeling equipment provided includes a vest, mask and snorkel; fins are not included. The vessel is partly covered, with partially shaded areas onboard. The captain selects the snorkeling location depending on weather and sea conditions. Underwater visibility varies with swell, wind and recent rainfall and can be reduced after heavy rain. Guests are recommended to wear swimwear under comfortable clothing and bring a towel, a hat, sunglasses, non-slip footwear or water shoes, and sunscreen; reef-safe sunscreen is recommended to help protect the marine environment. Rum punch is served onboard after the swimming and snorkeling part of the tour, and guests must be at least 18 years of age to consume alcohol.

This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
