Begin your scenic journey from the port, heading south towards Europa Point – The southernmost tip of Gibraltar. Enjoy commentary from your guide as you travel through this unique British Overseas Territory. Take in stunning panoramic views where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. On a clear day, you’ll see across to the coast of North Africa. Capture photos near the iconic Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque and the historic Europa Point Lighthouse.
Explore this awe-inspiring natural limestone cave, once believe to be bottomless. Admire its dramatic stalactites and stalagmites, enhanced by ambient lighting that transforms the cave into a magical underground experience. Meet Gibraltar’s most famous residents, the Barbary macaques. These wild but friendly monkeys roam freely in the Upper Rock area. Enjoy a safe, up-close view of there iconic animals while learning about their history and protected status.
Step back in time to the late 18th century and explore the Great Siege Tunnels, carved by hand during Gibraltar’s historic siege. These tunnels offer not only a fascinating history lesson but also incredible views over the northern face of the Rock. Discover a hidden military city beneath the Rock. This extensive network of tunnels was expanded during World War II to house troops, hospitals, and military command centers. Your guide will walk you through the strategic significance of Gibraltar during the war. Enjoy a relaxing drive back, passing the Moorish Castle and the Old Town, with brief commentary on their significance. This scenic end to your offers a final look at Gibraltar’s rich mix of cultures, history, and architecture.
Notes: Visiting the tunnels requires navigating several uneven and sloping steps. Surfaces inside the tunnels may be cool and slightly damp, and lighting is artificial with some dimly lit areas. This tour is not recommended for wheelchair users. No bags or food may be taken outside the bus. At the Apes’ Den, guests must not approach, feed, or handle the Barbary macaques, as they roam freely and may move unpredictably. Personal belongings should be secured at all times. The Upper Rock Nature Reserve includes narrow roads and elevated viewpoints.
This Yachting Land Adventure must be booked 72 Hours (3 days) prior to arrival in the port to confirm its operation during your voyage. Please book on the Seadream.com website, or onboard, early to avoid disappointment. Cancellations after the booking deadline are non-refundable.
