Discover the charms of Nice’s Old Town and venture into the surrounding hills for a visit and tasting at one of the region’s most historic wineries. Departing from the port, you will travel inland toward Château de Crémat, a unique estate overlooking the Bay of Nice. Considered one of the oldest vineyards in France, the property sits on land once occupied by ancient Romans, who carved tunnels still used today to age and preserve the wines. Spread across seven hectares, the vineyard benefits from an exceptional microclimate created by cool winds descending from the Alps and warm breezes rising from the Mediterranean, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly throughout the year.

Upon arrival, you will explore the estate’s vineyards, gardens, terraces, barrel cellar, and Roman galleries while learning about the château’s history and winemaking traditions. The estate has been organically farmed since 2012 and officially certified since 2013. Your visit includes an explanation of the winemaking process followed by a tasting of three wines accompanied by cold cuts and bread. Afterward, your coach will take you back toward Nice for the second part of your experience.

Your panoramic drive concludes in the heart of Nice, where you will continue on foot through the Old Town. Stroll along Cours Saleya, known for its vibrant daily flower market, replaced by a lively flea market on Mondays, and admire the colorful façades and traditional architecture. After some free time to explore independently, you may reboard the coach for the return to the yacht or choose to remain in Nice and make your own way back later.
