  • Portofino - Kayaking Portofino Bay

    Description

    Paddle along the beautiful coastline of Portofino's Marine Protected Area on this fun kayaking adventure. Your guide will greet you at the tender pier and take you to a private minivan, for a brief transfer to the nearby Kayaking Club. The instructor will welcome you and provide an orientation including environmental guide, kayaking techniques and then test your skills in the water to determine the most enjoyable course for the group.

    First everyone will paddle to Paraggi's Bay, forbidden to boat traffic; this is an ideal place to be enjoyed from the sea. Then, coasting along Niasca Bay, you reach Portofino's small harbor where, the most curious, can zigzag through the traditional Ligurian fishing boats. Continue traveling past small inlets, wild cliffs, caves and solitary beaches mostly only accessible from the sea. The next destination is Olivetta Beach, for a view of the prominent Portofino Lighthouse. After this pause, the course takes you toward Niasca Beach, admiring continually the seabed and the wonderful coast section where trees seem to dip into the sea. Once back at the club, your guide will escort you back to the transfer and yacht waiting in Portofino

    Notes

    The price is per person, based on sharing a double kayak. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to walk on inclined surfaces and climb about 40 steps to reach the kayaking resort. The activity is moderately demanding and involves paddling, balance, and getting in and out of kayaks, so participants should be comfortable with active water sports. The experience is weather and sea dependent and may be adjusted or canceled for safety. Recommended attire includes comfortable clothing, a bathing suit, towel, water shoes/slippers, and a change of clothes. Swimming is possible during stops, and guests wishing to snorkel should bring their own gear from the yacht.   • Portofino - Portofino Stroll, Castle Brown & Cocktails

    Description

    Portofino is known as the resort of the rich and famous, but there is more to see here than just people. As you come ashore today join your guide for a 10-minute walk to Castle Brown which overlooks, from above the Gulf of Tigullio, the seafaring village of Portofino, one of the most beautiful and famous places in the world.

    Explore Castle Brown, with its Mediterranean garden rich of flowers, pergolas and rose gardens together with a breathtaking view over the bay. Examine the bas-reliefs and revivalist architectural features in marble and slate and majolica tiles. There is also a great triptych work of art from the Sixteenth century and carved marble figures from the thirteenth century.

    After exploring the Castle, proceed to the Portofino lighthouse for an aperitif for SeaDream guests in a venue with spectacular view. Then follow your guide to the Church of St. George, where the bones of the dragon-slaying saint are buried. Visit the church, admire the view and take some pictures of the gulf before proceeding to the exclusive Piazzetta, where your guide, after a brief introduction will depart. You may return with the guide or choose to stay in town and make your way back to the yacht at your leisure.

  • Portofino - Sestri Levante and The Art of Pesto

    Description

    Discover the charm of the Ligurian Riviera as you journey from Portofino to the seaside village of Sestri Levante After meeting your guide at the tender pier, travel by minibus along the dramatic coastal road, where sweeping views of cliffs and azure waters frame the landscape. Upon arrival in Sestri Levante, follow your guide through the village’s historic center, strolling along flat streets lined with pastel façades and small shops before enjoying time at leisure to browse local boutiques offering regional foods, wines, and artisan goods.

    Your visit continues at a local venue for an immersive, hands-on introduction to one of Liguria’s most celebrated culinary traditions. Here, you will personally prepare authentic pesto, learning how fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, and Parmigiano Reggiano are combined using traditional methods to create the region’s signature sauce. Afterwards, you will enjoy a tasting of trofie pasta dressed in the pesto you have prepared, accompanied by local wine in a relaxed restaurant setting.

    After time to enjoy the flavors of Liguria, rejoin your vehicle for the return drive to Portofino. Upon arrival, walk back across the village to the tender pier, concluding your exploration of Sestri Levante’s coastal scenery and culinary heritage before returning to your yacht.

  • Portovenere (Cinque Terre) - Carrara Marble Jeep Discovery

    Description

    See the initial stages of new masterpieces in Carrara Marble on this adventure by 4X4 to Fantiscritti Quarry.

    Travel from the coast by coach on a scenic 90-minute drive admiring the picturesque villages enroute to the rich Apuane Mountains. Upon arrival at the quarry, you will hop into a 4x4 and climb deeper into the quarry area where you will learn about the marble extraction and treatment processes. Carrara marble is one of the most valuable marbles in the world. These quarries have been in use since Roman times and have provided marble for Roman houses and been exported around the world from the ancient Roman harbor of Luni. Famous artists have personally come here to select their marble for their future masterpieces, including Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, as well as Michelangelo Buonarotti.

    While visiting this historic quarry; see how the ¨Carrarini¨ (marble workers) operate and how they live their daily lives. After discovering the quarry by 4x4, you will stop for a lunch of local specialties including a regional favorite the Lardo di Colonnata crouton. Be sure to admire the scenic Tuscan and Ligurian countryside during the return trip to Portovenere.

  • Portovenere (Cinque Terre) - Cinque Terre Discovery & Ligurian Winery

    Description

    Explore three of the Cinque Terre villages: Monterosso, Manarola, and Rio Maggiore on this full day Yachting Land Adventure including lunch and Wine Tasting at the charming Buranco Ligurian Winery.

    Cinque Terre is a National Park and territory protected by UNESCO, with beautiful terraces and stunning vineyards. The scenery also includes spectacular sea cliffs with small inlets and enchanting beaches among interesting coastal rock formations distinguishing this area a natural "work of art." Start out this Yachting Land Adventure with a scenic drive by minibus to the furthest village of Monterosso. Upon arrival you will receive a guided tour of this famous village, followed by free time to explore independently.

    Afterward, you will travel to the stunning hillside Buranco Winery for a traditional Ligurian wine tasting. Take in the magnificent views of the coast as you relax sipping the fine wine. This is one of those locations in the world where you say to yourself, “hey I could stay here all day”. That is why we decided to extend the stay and have lunch here too including a meal of delicious Ligurian specialties!

    Now satisfied, you will be ready to continue this scenic Cinque Terre drive to Manarola; probably the oldest and second smallest of the five villages. Feel free to follow the guide on an orientation tour; or independently explore this second Cinque Terre village on the itinerary.

    Reboard the minibus for the final destination, the picturesque fishing village of Rio Maggiore. Dating from the early thirteenth century, this is the southernmost village of the Cinque Terre. Located on the shoreline with a small beach and wharf framed tower houses, this village has numerous restaurants, bars and shops to discover. You are sure to enjoy your time here, capturing the last images of Cinque Terre before the ride back to your yacht in Portovenere.

  • Calvi, Corsica - Calvi by Scenic E-Bike

    Description

    Discover Calvi from a spectacular new perspective on this invigorating half-day guided E-bike adventure, combining coastal panoramas, mountain scenery, and historic exploration.

    Following a safety briefing, helmet fitting, and E-bike assignment, depart from the Port of Calvi and ride along the scenic seaside road, enjoying sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Traveling at elevations exceeding 100 meters above the coastline, the route unveils dramatic seascapes, reddish rock formations, and the fragrant aromas of the Corsican maquis.

    The ascent continues toward the Chapel of Our Lady of the Serra, perched high above the Bay of Calvi. From this remarkable viewpoint, take in expansive views of the Balagne mountains, Monte Cinto, Corsica’s highest peak, and the distant Cap Corse. Along the way, pass picturesque hillside villages nestled into the slopes, highlighting the striking contrast between sea and mountains.

    The journey then descends along the historic Route of the Ancient Fort Mozello, leading toward the heart of Calvi. Upon arrival at the Citadel of Calvi, explore its narrow, centuries-old alleys rich in history.   • Calvi, Corsica - Corsican Wine & Vineyard Discovery

    Description

    Explore the history and flavors of a Corsican winery in the foreground of Mount Grossu during this guided winery Yachting Land Adventure and tasting outing. Depart the pier enroute to a family business full of history of lineage to central Corsican culture. After an approximate 30-minute drive you will arrive at the winery created in the 1960s by Baron Henry Louis de La Grange, and also the owner of the Convent of Alzipratu. This winery was run by Maurice Acquaviva before being taken over by his son, Pierre, and his wife, Cécilia.

    The vineyard at Mount Grossu is composed of several south-facing parcels, within approximately 99-acres (40 hectares), and split into two main parts. The vineyards are planted primarily with traditional Corsican varietals. The vines lie at the foothills of Mount Grossu, whose peak towers approximately 6,398 feet (about 1,950 metres) above sea level and is just minutes from the coastline. This results in highly contrasted climatic influences, thanks to the vineyard's proximity to both the sea and the mountains.

    Experience a guided walking tour of the vineyard with the owner and discussion with the local Oenologist (wine expert) followed by a tasting of the wines pared with local specialties. Learn about the connection between dining and the vines of the wines you are discovering in Corsica. Afterward there is free time to explore on your own or ask more detailed questions of your Oenologist before returning to the yacht.

  • Calvi, Corsica - The Villages of Corsica

    Description

    Begin your journey inland from the port of Calvi aboard a coach and travel through the rolling countryside of the Balagne region, known for its historic villages and fertile landscapes. The first stop is Calenzana, a traditional village with a notable church and a calm village center, where guests pause briefly to take in the surroundings. The route continues to Lunghignano for a visit to a traditional olive oil mill, where a donkey-driven press is still used, followed by an olive oil tasting highlighting one of Corsica’s emblematic local products.

    Continuing along scenic roads, pass through the village of Cateri before reaching Sant’Antonino, a hilltop village dating back to the 9th century and listed among The Most Beautiful Villages of France. Guests enjoy free time to explore its narrow cobblestone lanes and admire panoramic views over the Balagne region. A refreshment stop at Clos Antonini includes a glass of locally produced citrus juice. The return journey to Calvi passes through Lavatoggio and Lumio, offering additional views of Corsica’s rugged countryside before arriving back at the port.

    Travel by motorcoach through the bucolic landscapes of Provence to the charming old town of Aix en Provence, approximately one hour away. Few towns are as beautifully preserved as this traditional capital of Provence, elegant, historic, and rich in cultural heritage. Aix en Provence proudly claims two of France’s most celebrated creative figures: the Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne and the novelist Émile Zola.
    Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the cobblestone lanes of the Vieux Aix, the old town, as you make your way toward the famed Cours Mirabeau. Lined with graceful plane trees, this lively avenue marks the transition between the medieval streets to the north and the refined 18th century mansions to the south.

  • Sanary-sur-Mer - Easy Wheels Coastal E-Bike Adventure

    Description

    Discover the many facets of Sanary while on two wheels that are assisted with electricity; providing that glide along or uphill climb experience when you want it!

    On this Yachting Land Adventure, you will be assigned to your e-bike by an instructor waiting for you at the pier. When comfortable the group will set off for a coastal cruising adventure by 2 wheels exploring the beautiful Sanary area and nearby destinations. At a point along the way, the group will pause for a refreshment break and then head back to the pier.

    Guests should expect to cycle approximately 6.2 miles (10 km) during this excursion however the instructor will adjust the pace to suit the group’s comfort level, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. You will be assigned an e-bike, mandatory helmet and backpack with snacks. Guests should be comfortable riding a bike with hand breaking and riding downhill.   • Sanary-sur-Mer - Hilltop Castellet & Wine Tasting

    Your experience unfolds in the heart of Provence, where a beautifully preserved medieval village and a renowned Bandol wine property offer a captivating blend of history, culture, and flavor. Your journey begins with a scenic coach transfer from the pier to the hilltop village of Le Castellet, a quintessential Provençal gem. Perched above rolling vineyards, this beautifully preserved stronghold, once owned by the Lords of Les Baux, features ancient ramparts, a meticulously restored 12th‑century church, and a castle dating back in part to the 11th century.

    Entering through the fortified gates of Le Portail and Le Portalet, you will stroll through the village’s narrow, winding streets toward the historic castle, now serving as the town hall.     Exploring Saint Tropez by electric bike offers a refreshing and immersive way to experience one of the French Riviera’s most iconic destinations. After disembarking the ship’s tender, your instructor will be waiting on the pier to welcome you, provide your helmet, and review all safety instructions before your ride begins.

    Set off along the narrow side roads that wind through the village and into the peaceful countryside. Your e bike makes the journey effortless, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery as you pedal past vineyards nestled beneath tall pine trees. The fresh air carries the fragrant notes of lavender, eucalyptus, and sun warmed earth, an unmistakable signature of Provence.

  • St. Tropez - Wine & Port Grimaud

    Description

    Indulge in a wine lover's dream tour from St Tropez, exploring renowned vineyards, visiting the historic Chateau St Martin for a wine tasting, and ending with a picturesque stop at Port Grimaud.

    Departing from St Tropez, you will drive to reach Taradeau where Chateau St Martin is located. You will enjoy the countryside, passing by some of the most celebrated district’s vineyards: Appellation Côtes de Provence and reach your destination. The history of Chateau St Martin goes back to the Roman times. The Domain, “Cru Classé”, is 100 hectares and belongs to the same aristocratic family since 1740. You will discover beautiful sights, vineyards and have a special tasting of their wine production, accompanied by some toasts.

    After your visit, re-board your bus and on the way back to St Tropez, you will make a stop at Port Grimaud. This Mediterranean fishing village, designed by the famous architect François Spoerry, is indeed a modern complex of luxury housing with a fully equipped marina. Your instructor will meet you at the pier before you board a minivan for a scenic 45‑minute drive along the Mediterranean coast. As you approach the trailhead, the landscape transforms into a dramatic panorama of volcanic peaks rising sharply from the sea, their deep red tones contrasting beautifully with the intense blue of the water. This protected natural area spans 14,000 hectares and offers some of the region’s most captivating scenery.

  • Fréjus - Fréjus on Foot – From Roman Port to Provençal Charm

    Description

    Reach the city center and begin a guided walking tour through Forum Julii, the name given by the Romans to Fréjus nearly 2,000 years ago. Accompanied by your guide, explore the layers of history that have shaped this ancient city, brought to life through engaging commentary and historical anecdotes as you move through its emblematic landmarks.

    Step back into Roman times with a visit below ground to one of Fréjus’ most recent archaeological discoveries: a remarkably well-preserved Roman fish pond, a rare and striking example of Roman engineering ingenuity. Continue through the medieval heart of the city, strolling along narrow alleys before entering the cathedral, where architecture and atmosphere reflect centuries of religious and civic life.

    The walk then reveals a more modern side of Fréjus, as you pass through picturesque streets lined with colorful façades that characterize the historic center today. After the guided visit, return toward the port with a leisurely seaside stroll. Enjoy the lively marina atmosphere, with time to pause for a coffee or artisanal ice cream by the water. The tour concludes at the Square de la Lanterne d’Auguste, site of an ancient Roman lighthouse and a lasting symbol of Fréjus’ maritime past.
