Set out from Setúbal in a 4×4 Jeep and journey into the dramatic landscapes of Arrábida Natural Park, where paved roads give way to dirt tracks and sweeping coastal panoramas. Your driver-guide navigates winding routes through terrain of asphalt, stone slabs, gravel, and uneven surfaces, leading to the Norte Belvedere for a photo stop overlooking the protected coastline. Continue to the Convento da Arrábida Belvedere, where elevated viewpoints reveal the park’s rugged hills descending toward the Atlantic.
Travel onward toward Azeitão, passing Portinho da Arrábida, a sheltered cove known for its clear waters and limestone backdrop. The route showcases the varied terrain of the Setúbal region as you transition from natural parkland to traditional wine country. Your 4×4 vehicle allows access to scenic stretches unreachable by regular coaches, offering an immersive perspective of this protected landscape.
In Azeitão, visit a local wine cellar for a guided tasting experience. Walk across cobblestones, stone slabs, and gravel to the cellar, where regional wines are paired with local cheeses. Learn about the area’s winemaking traditions before returning by Jeep to the pier. This experience combines off-road exploration with authentic flavors of the Setúbal region, offering both natural vistas and a taste of local heritage.
Notes: The excursion operates in 4×4 vehicles with a maximum of four guests per vehicle and no air-conditioning. This tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Wheelchairs, including foldable wheelchairs and electric scooters, cannot be accommodated, and there is no wheelchair storage in the vehicle. Terrain throughout the tour includes uneven surfaces. Surfaces throughout the tour include asphalt, stone slabs, soil, gravel, and cobblestones, with uneven areas to negotiate. There are five steps at the wine cellar. The minimum age to participate is 6 years, and guests must be 18 years or older to consume wine. Wear comfortable outdoor attire and suitable footwear. Don't forget a windbreaker, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
