The Medieval Villages of Mougins & Valbonne

Discover the captivating Medieval village life of Mougins and Valbonne in Provence on this Yachting Land Adventure.

Embark on a scenic drive from Cannes to the quaint village of Mougins, a haven for the rich and famous. Ascend to the old city for breathtaking views of Cannes Bay, the Lerins Islands, and Grasse. Explore Mougins' charming streets adorned with 19 fountains, boutique shops, and art galleries. Discover the Museum of Classical Art, showcasing ancient sculptures and modern masterpieces by Picasso and Matisse. Also enjoy some time on your own for personal exploration of the village before reboarding the coach to Valbonne.

A short drive will lead you to the medieval village of Valbonne, created in the 16th century in the middle of an oak tree forest. Built like a well-protected square, Valbonne offers tiny pedestrian streets with shadowed squares covered porticoes and peaceful fountains. It is a wonderful Provencal town to stroll through its boutiques, galleries, and alluring shops and without the usual tourist crowds. You will enjoy a refreshment at a local brasserie and some time at leisure before reboarding the coach to return to the yacht waiting for you in Cannes.

Notes: To access the villages, there is a steep uphill walk on cobblestones and steps, at the village it’s mostly flat in Valbonne. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. Please book on the Seadream.com website, or onboard, early to avoid disappointment. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on board. YLAs operate rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to reserve online in advance, as tour availability may be limited once onboard.
