Join an authentic coastal fishing adventure just minutes from your cruise ship. Departing from the quay at Knutholmen, you will head out to local fishing grounds known for their rich and varied marine life.

Accompanied by an experienced local skipper, you’ll have the opportunity to try traditional Norwegian sea fishing in spectacular coastal surroundings. Depending on the season and conditions, possible catches include cod, pollock, haddock, halibut, wolffish, crab, and more. The boat accommodates a small group of up to four guests, ensuring a personal and hands-on experience suitable for all ages and skill levels. All necessary equipment is provided, including fishing gear and flotation suits, so you can simply focus on enjoying the experience.

Guests will spend approximately a couple of hours on the water exploring the local fishing grounds with the skipper. The experience highlights traditional sea fishing methods while allowing time to appreciate the scenic coastal landscape. Safety and sustainability are always a priority, and the tour operates according to current weather and sea conditions. This is a perfect shore excursion for guests seeking an authentic, small-scale Norwegian fishing experience close to nature.

Notes: This excursion is weather dependent and may be cancelled on short notice in the event of unsafe sea or weather conditions. The duration is approximately 2 hours and may be adjusted according to forecast and operating conditions on the day of call. The boat accommodates a maximum of four guests. Please note that there are no restroom facilities onboard and no shade or cover available. Guests are advised to wear layered, warm clothing, including a wind- and waterproof jacket, as well as good walking shoes with non-slip soles, as surfaces may be wet. The boat features open decks with limited shelter. Guests are advised to dress warmly and wear windproof outer layers appropriate for coastal Norwegian conditions.
A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on-board.
