Kayak Adventure

Depart the pier in Måløy and travel by minibus to the coastal area of Vågsvågs, where the kayaking route begins. Upon arrival, meet your guide for a detailed introduction to paddling techniques and safety procedures. After receiving instructions and equipment, launch into the sheltered coastal waters and begin paddling in stable kayaks. The route follows a protected stretch of shoreline where small islands, rocky reefs, and narrow inlets shape the landscape. Moving steadily through calm water, participants paddle in close proximity to the rugged coastline while learning basic maneuvering and pacing under the guide’s supervision.

Continue along the route for an extended paddling segment that follows the natural contours of the coastal environment. Short rest stops are made on the water, allowing time to regroup and observe the surrounding scenery from the kayaks. Throughout the journey, the guide maintains a steady pace suitable for participants without prior kayaking experience. The route remains within sheltered waters, offering a controlled environment for paddling while still providing clear views of the open coastal landscape beyond.

After completing the kayaking route, return to the launch area where equipment is collected and the group prepares for the transfer back to Måløy. The minibus then follows the coastal road back to the pier, concluding the experience.

Notes: Each participant must not exceed a maximum weight of 100 kg (220 lbs) or a maximum height of 198 cm (6 ft 6 in). The activity takes place in single kayaks, and participants must be able to enter and exit the kayak independently. Equipment provided includes a kayak, paddle, and either a dry suit, wetsuit, or no suit depending on weather conditions. It is recommended to wear layered clothing and light, sporty shoes that can get wet.

A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on-board.
