Set sail from Norra Hamnen (North Harbour) in Lysekil aboard Signe, a charming wooden boat built in 1956, for an unforgettable journey into the world of oyster and mussel farming.
Your adventure begins at a mussel farm, where you’ll witness firsthand the careful cultivation and harvesting process of these prized shellfish.
From there, Signe carries you onward to the oyster beds, where you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at oyster picking and learn about the history and tradition behind this coastal delicacy.
Amidst the stunning seascapes of Bohuslän, you'll visit a special spot dedicated to a comprehensive oyster presentation and tasting, offering fresh insights and flavors.
The journey continues with a visit to Käringeholmen, where you’ll enjoy a serving of freshly cooked mussels, savored against the peaceful backdrop of the shoreline.
Relax on the serene return to Lysekil, accompanied by the gentle hum of Signe’s engine and the memories of a truly authentic coastal experience.
