Olden is a place best discovered at a gentle pace, where mountains rise steeply from the fjord and quiet roads lead deep into glacially carved valleys. This guided e-bike experience offers an engaging and environmentally conscious way to explore the region, combining light activity with striking scenery and local storytelling.

After a short walk from the ship, you are welcomed at the Olden Active base for a safety briefing and bike fitting. High-quality electric-assist bicycles, featuring adjustable seating and multiple levels of pedal support, ensure a comfortable ride for both experienced cyclists and those new to biking. The electric assistance makes it easy to navigate the gentle, winding roads of Fjord Norway.

Cycling through Olden Village and into the Olden Valley, you pass cascading waterfalls, the tranquil waters of Floen and Oldenvatnet lakes, and expansive views across the Nordfjord. Scenic pauses are included throughout the route, allowing time for photography and to fully admire the surrounding landscape of dramatic cliffs and towering peaks. Along the way, your guide shares stories of Viking heritage, coastal traditions, and the enduring relationship between the local community and this remarkable natural setting.

Notes: Participants must be at least 12 years of age, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The height requirement is a minimum of 149 cm (4 ft 11 in) and a maximum of 198 cm (6 ft 6 in), with a weight limit of 130 kg (287 lbs). This tour involves a strenuous level of activity and covers approximately 20 km (12.4 miles). A basic level of fitness, mobility, and balance is required. Guests are required to walk approximately 5 minutes from the pier to the Olden Active base over flat surfaces before cycling on paved roads, paths, and gravel. Included equipment consists of an electric bike, MIPS-certified helmet, hi-visibility vest, and a backpack with water and a local snack. A comfort stop is available at Mølla Gjestehus before and after the tour. Guests are advised to dress in layers to accommodate changing weather conditions.
A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure time will be announced on board.
