From Screen to Shore: A Death in Paradise Experience

Explore the real-life filming locations of Death in Paradise, from the Honoré Police Station to Catherine’s Bar and La Perle Beach. Along the way, enjoy behind-the-scenes stories, filming secrets, and the island’s vibrant Caribbean charm.

Starting right at Deshaies Port, you will be guided through the charming streets where the magic of this show is brought to life. Feel the excitement as you stand outside the real-life building transformed into the Honoré Police Station. Sip in the atmosphere (and maybe imagine yourself questioning a suspect) at Catherine’s Bar, the most famous waterfront spot in the Caribbean for fans of the series.

Your adventure continues with a stop at the breathtaking La Perle Beach, where each season the inspector’s iconic seaside house is built. While the set won’t be standing during your visit (it is dismantled at the end season’s filming) you’ll see exactly where the scenes are shot, framed by golden sand and turquoise waters.

Along the way, you’ll hear fun behind-the-scenes stories, filming secrets, and local anecdotes that make both the series and the island unforgettable. Whether you’re a devoted fan or just curious to discover Deshaies, this tour blends TV magic with real Caribbean charm.

Notes: This tour involves extensive walking (approximately 2 hours) over uneven terrain with inclines and steps to negotiate. The visit to Deshaies village is entirely on foot.
