Step into the sweet world of honey bees on an unforgettable and educational Hive Dive, where you will delve into the fascinating social structure and intricate communication of these incredible creatures. Set off from the pier with your guide and arrive at the hives ready to get up close and personal with the bees. Watch them go about their busy work and learn how they communicate, how the hive functions as one, and why their role in pollination matters so much to the island. It is a rare chance to see how the island's delicious honey is made, right where it begins.
Before you venture closer, you will be fitted with a protective bee suit and gloves, so your experience is safe, enjoyable and fully interactive. Once your visit to the hives is complete, savor a honey tasting and explore the Celbees store, where honey, local products and nature-inspired souvenirs make the perfect way to take a piece of the island back home with you. A short return to the pier brings your sweet adventure to a close.
Notes: This is a minimal-activity tour involving very light walking over short distances, with some steps when boarding and exiting the vehicle. Guests must be able to board, enter and exit the transportation without assistance. Closed shoes, preferably high walking boots, and long socks are recommended. Protective bee suits and gloves are provided in adult sizes M, L and XL. Guests with bee allergies cannot participate, and perfume and strongly scented deodorants are not allowed. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. Please book on the Seadream.com website, or onboard, early to avoid disappointment. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on board. YLAs operate rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to reserve online in advance, as tour availability may be limited once onboard.
