Experience a breathtaking RIB adventure to Sotra, known as the “Garden of Islands.” Cruising between reefs and islets, you will discover life along Norway’s rugged west coast, where bustling birdlife, dramatic coastal landscapes, and the open fjords create an ever-changing seascape.

After being fitted with a weatherproof suit, embark on a high-speed journey into Bergen’s coastal waters. Sotra emerged as the ice retreated some 10,000 years ago, leaving behind thousands of islands scattered like pearls along the shoreline. As you navigate narrow straits and open stretches of sea, your guide will share stories of coastal life, maritime traditions, and the history of this remarkable region.

A relaxing stop awaits at the guide’s hidden gem on a private island. Here, you will learn about the island’s long and fascinating history and take part in a light foraging experience. The tasting menu varies according to the catch of the day, primarily featuring shellfish sourced from the family business that supplies some of the finest restaurants in Norway and Scandinavia.

Before cruising back to Bergen, you will have time to stroll through the beautiful estate and enjoy the surrounding coastal views.

This experience combines the thrill of the open sea with local history, fresh seafood, and the unique character of Norway’s island communities.

Notes: Participants must be at least 6 years of age, and children must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not recommended for pregnant guests or for those with back or neck problems. Guests should inform the operator in advance of any food allergies so the menu can be adjusted accordingly. There is an approximate 180 meters (600 feet) walk to the location where the boats are docked. Participants must be able to wear flat, sturdy footwear such as sneakers, terrain shoes, or hiking boots; waterproof footwear such as Gore-Tex shoes or similar water-resistant sneakers is advisable. All participants will be provided with a weatherproof suit, life jacket, and goggles. The boat is open, and guests may get wet during the ride. A comfort stop is available at the boathouse.
A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. This SeaDream Yachting Land Adventure program is subject to changes or restrictions at any time. Final departure times will be advised on-board.
