Your journey begins at the pier in Mahón, where you depart on a scenic drive across Menorca toward the island’s eastern coastline. The route leads to La Mola Fortress, an imposing 19th-century military stronghold positioned above the Mediterranean at the entrance of Mahón’s natural harbor. Built to protect this strategically important port, the fortress features vast defensive walls and commanding coastal viewpoints. During your visit, you will explore the grounds while taking in sweeping views across the sea and surrounding cliffs, gaining insight into the island’s strategic importance and the architectural scale of one of Menorca’s most significant historic landmarks.

Leaving the fortress behind, the journey continues inland through Menorca’s peaceful countryside. The drive reveals a landscape shaped by agriculture, with open fields, traditional stone walls, and gently rolling terrain characteristic of the island’s rural character. Your destination is Torralbenc, an elegant estate winery set among carefully cultivated vineyards. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a private visit of the estate’s vineyards, where the surrounding vines stretch across the hillside. As you walk through the property, you will learn about the grape varieties grown on the estate and the winemaking practices that define this small yet distinctive Menorcan wine region.

The experience continues with a refined tasting at the winery, where a selection of three locally produced wines, white, red, and rosé, is presented. Each wine is accompanied by a pairing of cheeses, cold cuts, and crackers that complement the flavors of the estate’s production. The tasting takes place in the tranquil surroundings of the winery, allowing time to appreciate the character of Menorca’s wines while overlooking the vineyards that produce them. Following this relaxed tasting experience, you will reboard your vehicle for a comfortable drive through the countryside before returning to the pier in Mahón.

Notes: Guests should wear comfortable walking shoes and are encouraged to dress in smart-casual attire. This tour is not suggested for guests with reduced mobility or those who are wheelchair-confined. As portions of the experience take place outdoors, guests may wish to bring sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to be served alcoholic beverages during the tasting.
