Begin at the pier in Fréjus with a private welcome, vehicle selection, and briefing before taking the wheel of a fully restored convertible classic car. The collection may include models such as a Mercedes Pagoda, Jaguar E-Type, Mustang, Porsche 911, or similar, each carrying two guests. With lead and following escort cars accompanying the drive, you will leave the port and head inland along quiet country roads toward Lac de Saint-Cassien, passing through pine-scented landscapes and the hills behind the Côte d’Azur.
At Lac de Saint-Cassien, you will pause for coffee, tea, or a soft drink in a calm lakeside setting before continuing the experience. You will then continue through the forests of the Estérel, where the road gradually descends toward Théoule-sur-Mer and the scent of the sea returns. A second refreshment stop offers time to enjoy views over the Mediterranean before the final coastal section begins.
For the return leg, you will drive west from Théoule-sur-Mer along the Corniche d’Or, one of the most scenic coastal roads in the region, with the Mediterranean visible throughout the drive back toward Fréjus. This final stretch brings together the character of the classic cars, the rhythm of the coastal road, and the contrast between forested hills and open sea. Back at the port, the experience concludes with a short debrief and farewell, completing an exclusive self-drive journey through a less conventional side of the Côte d’Azur.
Notes: The price of this experience is charged per car, not per person. Each booking includes one car and accommodates up to 2 guests. Guests may be required to walk a short distance on the pier to reach the cars. In order to participate, guests must meet the following limits: maximum height: 203 cm (6 feet 8 inches); maximum weight: 127 kg (280 lbs) maximum. A waiver is required to sign in order to participate in this tour. Drivers are required to carry a valid driver’s license and will be asked by the onboard team, once the voyage begins, to confirm whether they prefer to drive an automatic or manual transmission car. Guests do not choose the specific car; they only request the type of transmission. Vehicles are assigned on the day of the excursion, and specific models cannot be guaranteed. The tour is self-driving, with a lead car and a following car, and driver/guides positioned in the front and rear vehicles. The convoy follows a regular pace, and guests are required to follow the lead of the group at all times; this is not a fast-paced experience. During the experience, you may have the opportunity to exchange your classic car with fellow participants, should both parties agree. The driving time is approximately 3 hours, although this may be affected by traffic conditions. The itinerary and driving pace may be adjusted locally based on traffic, weather, road conditions, or operational requirements. Air conditioning may not be available in all cars, and as most vehicles are convertibles, guests should be prepared for sun exposure, wind, and seasonal temperatures. All vehicles are convertibles and are equipped with a roof that can be raised if weather conditions require. Comfortable clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended. Guests should also wear suitable footwear for driving; high heels or open-back sandals are not recommended for drivers. Storage space in the vehicles may be limited, so guests should avoid bringing large bags. Guests who are under the influence of alcohol, or who appear otherwise unfit to drive, will not be permitted to participate in the driving portion of the tour for safety reasons, and no refund will be given. Guests who plan to drive must not consume alcohol before or during the driving portion of the tour.
This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
