Explore the marvel of Florence city on this excursion where you will be the master of your time at the destination.

See the birthplace of the Renaissance at your own pace, as you enjoy approximately four hours of independent exploration in Florence. Travel via coach through the wine-producing hills of Tuscany, before exploring Florence on your own. Visit on your own the Piazza del Duomo, home to one of Europe's largest cathedrals, or the gothic Church of Santa Croce, burial place of famous Italians, or taste Italian cuisine as you stroll streets.

Depart by motor coach in the morning for the 1½-hour drive to Florence. Upon arrival your English-speaking escort will walk you to Santacroce and point out the meeting place and time for return. Enjoy your time at leisure, and at the scheduled departure time return to the meeting place to walk with your escort to the awaiting coach.

Notes: This experience does not include entrance fees, meals, or guided visits. It is strictly a same day transfer to and from Florence. Walking distances in Florence are moderate and may include cobblestone surfaces. Most shops remain open during lunch. Guests fully confined to a wheelchair will require an accessible vehicle arranged in advance. Comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended, along with a hat, sunscreen, and water in warmer months. Shoulders may need to be covered when entering churches. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity.
