Capri, Italy
Tucked in the Gulf of Naples, the luxurious island of Capri is defined by its breathtaking landscapes and upscale beach resorts, sitting pretty on the picturesque beaches of the Marina Grande and Marina Piccola harbors. The small size of SeaDream’s intimate twin yachts allows guests a Capri experience that larger ships cannot replicate. As often as possible, SeaDream docks alongside in Capri until late at night or even overnight, so guests can step off the yacht and into Capri with ease. After the last ferry has left, the town becomes more authentic with less tourists, and SeaDream guests have the ultimate freedom to linger longer with locals. For those who may not be familiar with the island, Capri offers a sophisticated charm that comes alive in the evening. A guest favorite includes boarding the funicular that runs between the port in Marina Grande and the Piazzetta in Capri town above, where incredible views, buzzing bistros, and luxe boutiques await.
Besides Capri town’s upscale boutiques and abundant seafood cafés, the island as a whole has so much to offer including the famous Grotta Azzurra, Giardini di Augusto, Certosa di San Giacomo, Villa San Michele di Axel Munthe, and the uniquely shaped Faraglioni Rocks. The village of Anacapri, located high on the hills to the west of the island, offers ample opportunity to take in museums and art galleries, and visitors can continue up to Mt. Solerno, the island’s highest point, for breathtaking views. Ascend the infamous 921 Phoenician Steps, linking the port of Marina Grande with Anacapri, which for thousands of years provided the only means of reaching the village before the carriageway was completed in 1874.
Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos is so breathtakingly beautiful it is not surprising that it has become one of the most desired travel destinations in the world. The Greek island’s cosmopolitan lifestyle, sophisticated nightlife, and historic treasures of nearby UNESCO-awarded Delos deliver the perfect recipe for an unforgettable yachting vacation. SeaDream typically anchors just off the island’s famous windmills and tenders guests directly to the Old Town—during afternoon into evening calls after the crowds have departed and other cruise ships have left port.
Explore the island’s incredible beaches, boutiques, and restaurants at a relaxed pace, independently or through on of our Yachting Land Adventures, including a boat tour to Delos, known as the “island of lights” and the mythical birthplace of the Greek god Appollo and his twin sister Artemis. Sitting pretty at only a little over one square mile and largely uninhabited, Delos was considered “the most sacred of all islands” in ancient Greek culture. The UNESCO World Heritage site is by far one of the most important archaeological and historical sites in Greece. Indeed, its location at the center of the Cyclades gives rise to the theory that the name of the Cyclades group of islands comes from the word “circle,” or kyklos, that form around the isle of Delos. Most day visitors access Delos by ferry; on many itineraries, SeaDream anchors offshore for a half day for maximum exploration.

SeaDream docks in the heart of the city, steps away from a world preserved as it was centuries ago. From our docking point, you can walk or take a SeaDream bike to the Plaza de Espana, designed by the Sevillian architect Aníbal González and surrounded by a canal crossed by four bridges representing the ancient kingdoms of Spain. Walk in the footsteps of Columbus at the Carthusian monastery of Santa María de las Cuevas, where the explorer received the advice of monks between 1484 and 1492. Beyond these treasures, the winding streets and active public squares of the Barrio Santa Cruz provide insight into the oldest part of the city.
