  • Nassau - Jeep and Beach Adventure

    Description

    Get behind the Jeep’s wheel and drive with your friends on a guided tour starting from downtown Nassau and exploring the island, including the caves where the indigenous Lucayans once lived and pause to relax at the beach.

    With radio narration from your guide, you will drive through the colorful shopping district on Bay Street and see highlights, such as the pink-hued House of Assembly. Head west past the lovely Cable Beach and drive on JFK drive which recognizes President JFK’s historical trip to The Bahamas in December 1962 where the Nassau Agreement was signed. You will also get a view of the fabulous and sprawling Baha Mar resort that is now a famous Bahamian landmark.

    See the Nassau Caves during a quick photo stop at the caves entrance of New Providence. Home to the Arawak, or Lucayan Indians, these were the original inhabitants of the Bahamas. Next travel to Saunders Beach and spend some free time on one of Nassau’s most inviting beaches, also a popular swimming spot for the locals. You may want to stroll along the shore, bask in the sun or simply admire the natural beauty and serenity of the sea before returning to your SeaDream yacht.

    Driver must be a minimum age 25 and have a valid drivers license. This tour is priced per person, not per vehicle, and you may be paired with other guests. The jeeps are based upon 4 guest (2 couples) per jeep. Please wear your swimming suit under a cover up, sunscreen, hat and bring a towel from the yacht.   • Nassau - Nassau Sightseeing and Rum Distillery

    Description

    Discover Nassau on this comfortable air-conditioned exploration of the downtown and West End of the island that also includes a stop at the local rum distillery for a cool refreshment.

    Take off from the pier in airconditioned comfort on this sightseeing tour of western New Providence
    Island. Your knowledgeable driver will take you for a scenic drive through the downtown and other areas of the island that are not often seen.

    Visit the Nassau caves and learn how they were formed and take photos. Hear about the local culture, rich history and architecture of Nassau from your expert local guide. Stop at the local island rum distillery for a tour and refreshment before returning back to the yacht.

  • Compass Cay, Exumas - Swimming Pigs, Iguanas & Sharks Encounter

    Description

    Encounter the famous animals of the Bahamas: swimming pigs, iguanas and nurse sharks, on this exciting Yachting Land Adventure. Visit Pigs Beach where you will see that pigs can’t fly but they sure can swim. Swim also with friendly nurse sharks at Compass Cay, feed the swimming pigs and get a close look at the endangered Bahamian Rock Iguanas all while cruising in the pristine waters of the Exuma Cays.

    In the middle of paradise, with billionaires and celebrities for neighbors, is an island populated only by swimming pigs. For decades, this archipelago of 365 islands would remain largely unknown to the world. It would not be a ruthless pirate, pioneering loyalists, a notorious drug kingpin, or the infamous Fyre Festival that would unveil Exuma to the world, but rather the most unlikely of creatures. Appearing in magazines, videos, newspapers, commercials, TV shows, and countless selfies, are the Swimming Pigs of Staniel Cay Exuma, in the Bahamas. They have become a bucket-list sensation and have been named one of the marvels of the universe.     Notes

    Towels, cold water and soft drinks, snacks for humans and the pigs are provided. Professionally maintained snorkeling gear, beach chair and floats are also available. This trip is not suitable for expectant mothers, infants or persons with back, knee or neck problems, heart problems or conditions affected by high-speed travel. All participants should be physically fit and know how to swim. Every participant must sign a liability waiver before joining the tour. Late afternoon departures may find some pigs lounging on the beach because of their full bellies from earlier feedings. Space is limited on this popular Yachting Land Adventure.   • Gordon's Beach, Long Island - Hamilton Caves and Dean’s Blue Hole

    Description

    Explore Long Island and experience two of its most impressive natural wonders – one dripping with stalactites, the other plunging 663 feet down into the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole!
    Step aboard your air-conditioned bus at Gordon's Beach for an island exploration seeing its highlights: Gun Hill, the highest point in Clarence Town and the historic St. Peter and Paul church with stunning views of the harbor.

    Next, travel along the scenic Queen’s Highway, to Hamilton’s Cave. Your expert guide leads you to survey the labyrinthine of darkness in the Bahamas’ largest cave system. Multiple chambers open to reveal impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over centuries as well as many bats who (fortunately) mostly slumber during the daytime in the crevices of the caves.

    Afterwards, you will return to the light of day for a short drive to the world-famous Dean’s Blue Hole. Surrounded by limestone bluffs and a splendid white-sand beach, this setting is idyllic for relaxing along the unspoiled Caribbean shore. But the real attraction here is to wade, or swim out, through the shallows to where the sandy seafloor suddenly disappears – suddenly dropping 663 feet into the world’s second-deepest saltwater blue hole. Or dare to be brave and adventurous by climbing up the rocky pathway and plunge into the blue depths below. All too soon it is time to rejoin your bus for the 45-minute drive to the yacht waiting at Gordon's Beach.

    This Yachting Land Adventure includes walking for approximately 1 hour over uneven ground with limited light at the cave and driving over somewhat rough road to reach Dean’s Blue Hole beach. Please wear flat, comfortable shoes suitable for the cave excursion, and dress in swimwear with cover-up for the beach visit. Be sure to bring along a hat, sunscreen, and your towel from the yacht. There is a restroom break on the tour. We recommend you bring US dollars to purchase any food or drink from the small local vendors.

  • Emerald Bay, Great Exuma Island - Emerald Bay ATV Adventure

    Description

    Experience Great Exuma in a unique and thrilling way on a guided 3-hour ATV tour throughout the island. Big things come in small packages and that saying was never truer than in Great Exuma with just 37 stunning miles long and ready to be explored.

    Discover the best of Great Exuma’s island history when you take this adventure. Set out on this journey as the convoy takes you to see one of the oldest churches in the country, St Margaret’s Anglican Church, built in 1848. Next travel back in time to the islands first prison, the Pompey Steventon Museum which is named in honor of a courageous slave, Pompey, who lived on the Rolle Plantation on Steventon. Then examine a natural cave that once served as a haven for locals from bad weather and pirates to hide their treasure. The beaches in Exuma are incredibly beautiful with crystal clear waters. Ride the off-trail road to Coco Plum Beach for a fresh coconut snack and opportunity to experience true paradise with fine white sand and fresh sea air, before heading back to the ATV base and the yacht.

  • San Salvador - San Salvador Bike & Beach Discovery

    Description

    Hop on the saddle and follow your local guide on a two-wheeled tour of scenic San Salvador with stops at key landmarks, and idyllic beach and a watering hole for a cool adult beverage.

    Enjoy cycling on the quaint and beautiful island of San Salvador aboard an easy cruiser bike for a fun island discovery. Inhale the ocean fresh air, visit unspoiled beaches and historical landmarks. Talk to the local people who are just happy to say hello to you. Swim or snorkel on a beautiful beach where you’re likely to be the only visitors there. Check out the crisp white cross marking Columbus’ first landfall here in the New World. Lastly relax to the cool running’s of the island and enjoy a local beer or pina colada. Pace yourself to the rhythm of the island on this wonderful bike tour in the Bahamas.

    The bikes used are e-bikes; however, they do not have baskets, so guests are advised to bring a backpack to carry personal items. Guests must know how to ride a bike and be confident cycling on roads. Helmets are mandatory at all times while cycling. Please wear cool, layered clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and closed-toe flat footwear such as tennis shoes. No dresses are allowed. It is recommended to wear a swimsuit under your clothing if you plan to swim at the beach, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water shoes. Guests should also bring a camera or phone for photos.

  • Salt Cay - Bahamas Deep Sea Fishing

    Description

    Enjoy world-class offshore deep-sea sport fishing in the blue Bahamian seas on this exciting Yachting Land Adventure.

    With roomy decks, the 43-foot Bertram sport fisher has a state-of-the-art sound system, and onboard food and drinks, combines the amenities of a luxurious voyage with the excitement of reeling in the catch of the day. Relax in comfort and style as your experienced captain guides you through the best fishing spots in the surrounding waters. Try fishing the Bahamian way – no rods! – or reel in your catch of mahi mahi, snapper, grouper, marlin, wahoo, or tuna, depending on the season.

    All fishing equipment, bait, drinks, and snacks are provided onboard. Four lines are in the water at a time and fishing is rotated. SeaDream does not allow bringing your catch onboard the yacht.   • Salt Cay - Blue Lagoon Getaway

    Description

    With its stretch of white sands fringed by coconut palm trees and a lush rain forest, Blue Lagoon Island—or Salt Cay—offers an idyllic escape. This is your opportunity to go ashore at Blue Lagoon and explore this tropical island.

    Your SeaDream tender will arrive directly at the Blue Lagoon Marina. Enjoy the beautiful Blue Lagoon Beach in a reserved area for SeaDream guests at one of the most well-known, of Nassau’s natural attractions. Your ticket includes the entrance fee onto the island and a lounge chair and umbrella based upon availability. Be sure to bring cash or credit cards to purchase any optional beverages or food, or for upgrade options based upon availability.

    In your personal vacation bubble, lay back and soak up the sun in a comfortable beach lounge chair, or relax in a large double hammock under the shade of swaying palms. Take a soothing swim in the calm lagoon or relax on the pristine beaches with the white sand between your toes.
