Malaga, together with adjacent towns and municipalities such as Rincon de la Victoria, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Alhaurin de la Torre, Mijas, and Marbella, forms the Malaga Metropolitan area. The important cultural infrastructure and the rich artistic heritage have culminated in the nomination of Malaga as a candidate for the 2016 European Capital of Culture. The internationally acclaimed painter and sculptor Pablo Picasso and actor Antonio Banderas were both born in Malaga. Funchal is considered the sixth largest city in Portugal, and for five centuries, it has also been the capital of Portugal’s Autonomous Region of Madeira. Funchal has a rich history, which quickly became a populated settlement due to its productive soils, and its surrounding valley having a natural amphitheater shape that provided shelter for early settlers. SeaDream guests may visit top tourist locations such as Blandy's Wine Lodge, the open Worker's Market and the Sacred Art Museum. You will find a passenger gondola lift (Funchal Passenger Ropeway), that transports people from the lower section of the city to the suburb of Monte. Aside from the city of Funchal, there are more tourist destinations such as Santana, beaches of Porto Santo Island, Porto Moniz, Ribiera Brava, Curral das Freiras, and the UNESCO Natural site, the Laurisilva forest.

Chrishi Beach is an idyllic respite in Cades Bay on the island of Nevis, itself nestled in the Leeward Islands of the West Indies. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around. Marigot was named the capital during the reign of King Louis XVI, who built Fort St. Louis on a hill near Marigot Bay. Montserrat, a lush, pear-shaped volcanic island nestled in the heart of the Leeward Islands, is known as the “Emerald Isle of the Caribbean,” in part because of its formerly large population of people who originated from Ireland. Montserrat is considered one of travel insiders’ favorite Caribbean islands, notably for its proximity to Guadeloupe, Antigua, and Nevis. St. Kitts also attracts hundreds of different bird species, making Frigate Bay an ideal destination for bird watchers. Discover the island’s stunning vistas from the top of the Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the “Gibraltar of the West Indies.” Wander seventeenth-century Romney Manor estate and gardens, originally owned by Thomas Jefferson’s great grandfather, and its Caribelle Batik where the traditional art of batik is alive and try your hand at handmade colorful clothing.

Due to this fact, Saba is actually the location of the tallest, or highest point/elevation of the Netherlands, even though it is a few thousand miles away from its European homeland. With an estimated local population of just over 2,000 people, Saba is now primarily supported by tourism, and is known for a concentration on “eco-tourism”. This includes diving, hiking, and climbing its mountainous terrain. The island is so small that there is only 1 main road, and its airport is well-known for having one of the shortest commercial runways in the world. The island’s intimate size, picturesque Red rooftops and lush vegetation make it a perfect port to call on during your special Caribbean yachting vacation.

The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne & Caviar Splash® followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

The capital and largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It has two ports of call for cruise vessels, Havensight and Crown Bay. SeaDream yachts are almost always docked at Crown Bay which is very close to the airport. In the event the yachts call to the island as a port of call rather than an embarkation point, you will find the yacht anchored in the bay and tendering downtown.
