Visit the picturesque Holywood Golf Club, beautifully set in the hills above Belfast Lough just outside the historic town of Holywood. Upon arrival, guests are provided time to prepare for their round, including check-in and readiness for play. Established in 1904, the club is famously known as the home course of four-time major champion Rory McIlroy, who first developed his remarkable talent on these very fairways before rising to international golfing stardom. Guests then proceed to the course to begin their round on the 18-hole parkland layout, following tee times as assigned by the club.
The round of golf unfolds across a course defined by rolling hills and mature woodland, requiring continuous play through each hole. After your round, enjoy some free time to relax in the welcoming clubhouse, where you can soak in the views and reflect on your game at one of Northern Ireland’s most charming and historic golf clubs.
Notes: Proper golf attire is required on the course, including polo shirts, golf trousers or shorts, and golf shoes. The following items are not permitted: denim jeans, tracksuits or athletic joggers, t-shirts or sleeveless shirts, football or rugby tops, cargo shorts or combat-style trousers, and non-golf footwear such as trainers, running shoes, sandals, or flip flops. Rental golf clubs are available on request for an additional charge and are subject to availability. Tee times are managed by the golf club and may be subject to availability and scheduling constraints on the day. Golf etiquette and pace of play are expected to be maintained throughout the round. The course is played in an open, exposed environment where wind can affect play conditions, and ground conditions may be soft or wet, particularly outside the summer months, impacting footing and ball roll.
This Yachting Land Adventure must be confirmed no later than 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival in port; bookings may still be accepted after this deadline, up to the time of arrival, if space is available. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival in port are non‑refundable. A minimum number of participants is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures, and some may have limited capacity. Please book on the Seadream.com website, or onboard, early to avoid disappointment. All adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. Final departure times will be published on board.
