Depart Glasgow for the Hebrides and the remote Northern Isles, calling first at Tobermory, Mull's rainbow row of harbour houses set above waters patrolled by white-tailed eagles. Continue to Portree, gateway to Skye's pinnacled Old Man of Storr and the surreal Quiraing, before reaching Kirkwall, where Orkney's Neolithic village of Skara Brae and the UNESCO-listed Ring of Brodgar predate the pyramids. Anchor off Fair Isle, Britain's remotest inhabited island, home to sixty islanders, a storied bird observatory and the knitwear pattern that bears its name, then berth at Lerwick, Shetland's northernmost port, where Iron Age brochs meet the endless daylight of the simmer dim. Invergordon opens onto Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, while Dundee's striking V&A stands beside Captain Scott's Discovery. In Leith, climb Edinburgh's Royal Mile to its brooding castle, then sail on to Stavanger's timbered old town and quiet Lillesand before concluding in Oslo, where the Opera House gleams across the fjord and the unhurried calm of a Scandinavian summer lingers.

Testimonials

We've had a lovely time. My husband's request for his 70th birthday was to be on SeaDream in the Caribbean, and we've really enjoyed it. SeaDream is by far, the best cruise line in the Caribbean. Catherine B.Great Britain
This was a wonderful experience thanks largely to the size of the ship and the wonderful staff – they made it memorable. Mr & Mrs BoyleSouth Africa
